Admission Requirements

Transfer students who are interested in the Architectural Studies program are encouraged to email the program or call 816-235-1725 to discuss options for admission.

Transfer students must have at least an overall 2.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale in all coursework, which includes repeat coursework attempted at previous institutions, and must have a 2.0 GPA in all math, biology and chemistry courses.

Transfer students without a 2.0 or higher college GPA may submit a petition for admission.

Includes Biomedical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Information Technology and Mechanical Engineering majors.

Transfer students must have at least an overall 2.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale in all coursework, which includes repeat coursework attempted at previous institutions; however, every application is individually reviewed with special attention paid to academic performance in math, science, engineering and computer science courses.

Transfer students without a 2.0 or higher college GPA or who have earned less than a 2.0 in their last semester must submit a petition for admission.
