All UMKC graduates are automatically members of the Alumni Association. There are no annual dues, but you are invited to support the Alumni Fund and can designate your gift to the School of Science and Engineering.
Donating $50.00 or more per year to any scholarship, school or program makes you a Contributing Member. At this level, you are eligible for additional alumni benefits and are a voting member of the association.
Our alumni are making a real difference around the world, developing solutions to improve our communities. Whether it is local, national or international, our students can benefit from hearing your stories and learning more about opportunities available in your field.
Volunteers give their time and expertise to mentor our students, advise our deans and help us grow. Each year around 2,600 volunteers donate more than 244,000 hours of their time.
Please update your information to let us know what volunteer opportunities you are interested in. We will contact you as opportunities arise.
Do you know a graduate who has achieved notable professional success or used their education to provide outstanding service to the community? Nominate a graduate for the annual Alumni Achievement Award.
Award recipients have included a graduate who provided skilled training and jobs to underprivileged children in India, an engineer who helped reshape Kansas City’s downtown and the CEO of Black & Veatch, a globally recognized engineering firm.
The annually elected SSE Alumni Association Board is vital to our school’s mission and development of a strong alumni base.
