Md Yusuf Sarwar Uddin is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering at the University of Missouri Kansas City (UMKC). Before joining UMKC, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of California, Irvine. He completed his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He obtained his Master's and Bachelor's degree both in Computer Science and Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). His research interests lie in the broader areas of systems and networking, more specifically in distributed computing applied in the areas of Internet of Things (IoT), Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS), mobile computing, and data-driven (Big Data/AI) systems.
