Professor Oyler joined UMKC in 2005 after a postdoc at the National Institutes of Health and graduating with his Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from the University of Washington in 2000. Professor Oyler’s research interests are focused on two separate area: Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (either solids or solution with a focus on material science) and hyperspectral imaging applied to medieval texts.
