I specialize in the science and technology of terahertz (THz) waves, a unique segment of the electromagnetic spectrum located between microwaves and optics. The THz band (100 GHz-10 THz) is widely considered the next frontier in wireless communication. My research is dedicated to addressing the specific challenges associated with these high-frequency waves and identifying novel opportunities arising from their quasi-optical nature. I generate, manipulate, and, most importantly, utilize THz waves for exciting future applications in sensing, imaging, and wireless communications. I am always seeking motivated graduate and undergraduate students to join my research team.
