Cheng Han received his bachelor's degree from Tianjin University (TJU) in 2019, his master's degree from Pennsylvania State University (PSU) in 2021, and his Ph.D. from the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). He is a tenure-track assistant professor in the School of Science and Engineering at the University of Missouri -- Kansas City (UMKC). His research interests include efficient multimodality and adaptable and sustainable intelligence. His ultimate goal is to craft and assess energy-wise AI systems that positively impact communities and tackle environmental/social challenges. His publications include flagship conferences and transactions in the AI and machine learning domains such as NeurIPS, ICCV, ECCV, ICLR, CVPR, and TPAMI
