This course provides the background knowledge and skills you will need to be a successful IT technician. Not only is this class the perfect starting point for anybody looking to enter the field of IT, but it will help you prepare to take the CompTIA A+ Core Series certification examinations to become a CompTIA A+ Certified Professional.

Four weeks full-time (160 hours), Mondays through Fridays from 9 a.m.–5 p.m. CDT. Class attendance on campus is mandatory.

Course overview

CompTIA A+-certified professionals are proven problem-solvers, supporting today’s core technologies — from cyber-security to data management. CompTIA A+ is the industry standard for launching IT careers into today’s digital world. It is the only industry recognized credential with performance-based items to prove pros can think on their feet to perform critical IT support tasks in the moment.

Every class will have hands-on activities. Tasks not completed during class time have to be completed before the following day.

The class will be taught by IT veterans who are in the industry and have considerable knowledge of the content that they are teaching. They are also certified CompTIA A+ professionals.

Certification

The CompTIA A+ Core Series requires candidates to pass two exams.
